Giving Bees Their Dream Home

Bee Brick™ is a North American company that is committed to helping the dying solitary bee population grow. We truly believe our product can play an important role in helping give safe nesting sites for the most important pollinators. Each Bee Brick™ provides small cavities for solitary bees to lay their eggs. The bees then seal the entrance with mud or chewed up vegetation. They will hibernate for the winter. In the Spring, the off-spring emerge and repeat the nesting cycle.

Our Solitary Friends

Solitary bees are a vital part of the ecosystem, playing a key role in pollination. Unlike honeybees, solitary bees do not live in colonies or produce honey. Each female builds her own nest, often in small cavities, and raises her young independently. Despite their quiet nature, solitary bees are incredibly efficient pollinators, making them essential for the health of gardens, wild plants, and crops. They are gentle, non-aggressive, and important contributors to biodiversity, helping maintain the balance of nature and promoting plant growth.

The brick looks great and is sturdy, though I wish it came in a few more color options to better match my outdoor decor. Still, it's a fantastic product that does exactly what it promises. My kids love watching the bees use it!"
